Jillian Whiting and Suzanne Stark are the Directors of Media Potential. They are leading figures in network television and are actively involved in the industry. They understand the importance of communicating with clarity and confidence.
They have come together to create cutting edge training programs to assist those seeking professional communication skills, television presenting skills and help in building a media profile.
With backgrounds in media management, corporate training, on air television and radio presentation as well as media production; the principals of Media Potential have unparalleled capacity to offer a diverse and superior insight into the media industry and the corporate communication environment.
Every training program is custom-built and designed for those who are serious about improving their communication and television presenting skills. They have also endeavoured to bring together the best team of facilitators to fulfil clients’ needs.
Suzanne Stark
Suzanne Stark is a qualified voice coach and corporate communication expert. For 15 years she has helped craft bid presentations, keynote speeches, and media appearances for some of Queensland’s leading business names. She is also Media Potential’s crisis expert, safely guiding clients through complicated and confronting media events.
Suzanne also has over 20 years hands-on experience in the television industry. She was the producer of national programs including “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” and “Sale of the Century”. For 20 years Australia’s three commercial television networks have hired her as a voice and presentation coach for their on-air personalities. Suzanne is our genuine X factor in the crowded market of media trainers.
Jillian Whiting
Jillian is a familiar face on Queensland television – with over 25 years’ experience as a journalist, newsreader and TV presenter with the Seven and Nine networks. She’s also been a regular presenter on local radio and contributor to News Limited papers. Jillian is a partner and director of communication agency Media Potential, a Brisbane based company which specialises in media and presentation skills and TV presenting courses.
Jillian’s years of experience performing live on television has lead to a successful career as and MC and facilitator.
She is currently a presenter on Channel Seven’s local lifestyle program, Weekender, and the APAC Nework. Jilliian also serves on Queensland’s Women in Media Committee.
