Loving Live TV!

I have recently appeared on Channel Seven’s Sunrise a couple of times as part of the panel for a segment called “Kochie’s Angels”  where we discuss.. well anything really! Opportunities like these remind me how much I love, and miss, live television.

For many the idea of appearing live and unscripted would be paralysing. Having to think on your feet, listen careful to others and being aware not to contribute too much or too little, are all the elements running through your mind while the red light is on and the cameras are rolling.

Like everything practice is key and the benefits of sharpening media skills in a studio environment for television appearances or any public speaking enables you to have a ‘tool kit’ to draw upon to calm nerves, stay focussed and on message and most importantly, authentically connect with your audience.

There are only benefits to being more prepared.
