A ground- breaking journalist, presenter and broadcaster and emcee, Victoria Carthew has worked at the Seven Network for more than two decades and its currently a presenter with the popular travel and lifestyle program, ‘Weekender’. Victoria made her name as a sports journalist and presenter from Olympics and Commonwealth Games to Rugby League or AFL and was Australian TV’s first female boundary rider. Vic has also regularly been a voice on talkback radio for ABC and 4BC. She’s still heavily involved in sports, and emcees business and sports events for the Brisbane Broncos and a host of the Queenslands’ top awards evenings. She is also a regular conference and event facilitator, and has a huge on-line following as co-host of the QBD Book Club and Crime Club, as well as the QBD Book Club Podcast, interviewing some to the Worlds top authors each month.
